About NotLenny.com
I'm the guy who everyone calls when their computer stops working.
Internet problems, suspected viruses, blank screens, missing data, crashing programs – you name it, they call me. Typically the solution is something simple, but oftentimes it requires me to pay a visit to solve the problem.
Not that I mind! I love technology and everything about it. Acting as the family network administrator gives me a level of personal satisfaction that I don’t think I could live without.
This website is just an extension of my desire to spend time working with technology. In fact, in order to put this site together I had to re-teach myself many of the things that I have forgotten over the past few years (HTML, anyone?). Websites used to be simple to program – much has changed in the past few years.
The goal of this website is to explain things in plain English.
I realize this is a novel idea in today’s day and age. I simply haven’t found a resource targeted at people who just want to use technology – not to become experts themselves. This site will attempt to help everyday people learn a little more about technology than they already know, hopefully in a way that is easy and simple to understand.
A note to experts reading this website: you’re going to hate a lot of what I do here. I’m going to over-simplify things and leave out a lot of seemingly important details. Guess what? That’s the point!
